Introduction Of A New Black Jack Betting Option
/ 25 December 2005
Black jack is probably the most popular and widely played betting game in the world. The rules are really simple; try to get a hand as high as possible without surpassing 21. If you have a higher hand than the dealer does, you win the game. The game was created hundreds of years ago and since then the game has changed forms and rules several times. Now, a new feature is about to be globally introduced, a new black jack betting option.
According to the Chicago Sun Times, an innovative black jack betting option, known as Casino Surrender, has the potential of becoming a standard feature at all the black jack tables in
online casinos all around the world. The new black jack betting option was recently introduced in the greater Chicago area at the Blue Chip Casino and Hotel in Michigan City, Indiana and the reactions on the new betting option were extremely positive.
The pioneering black jack betting option was launched for the first time at two tables at the Stardust in Las Vegas in April this year. Ever since then, the black jack betting option has expanded to 70 tables at 12 different casinos and is presently licensed in the states of Mississippi, Indiana and Nevada.
The so-called Casino Surrender game is not the same as the regular game Surrender, an old black jack betting option were a player can choose to give up or 'surrender' half of his bet to the house, whenever he feels that his two-card dealt hand won't hold up against the hand of the dealer.
The patented black jack betting option changes the game by allowing the players to force the dealer to 'surrender' if he's following these instructions: The player is holding a two card of 20 points (10/10 or A/9) and the dealer is showing a card that is a 10> value up card, but no Ace.
The reward for the players of the new black jack betting option is the return on their original bet plus 50% of its value, without having to play the hand and having the risk of the dealer turning over a 10-value card and hitting 20 or even worse, getting an Ace and 21.
Casino experts predict that the black jack betting option will be available on 100 tables at 16 casinos before the end of the year.
